1. Who is the hero of the story…
Vikings sometimes had titles like Eric ‘Bloodaxe’ or Halgerd ‘Long legs’.
2. What is the name of the baddy?
You could use alliteration (Hilda the Horrible, Vidar the Victorious, etc).
3. Choose two locations…
4. Choose two objects to take with you on the quest…
Runes were Viking writing. (A ‘runestone’ is a stone with runes written on it).
5. Now zoom forward to the most exciting part of your story. Start to write from the most exciting part.
The first line could be a line of dialogue.
