1. Choose characters for your story…

  • Hobbit
  • Wizard
  • Tree-Spirit
  • Dragon Rider
  • Teenager


2. Choose names…

Tip: Think of the name of a street near your house/school. For example: Park Street. Your character could be called ‘Park’ (Or ‘Par’ or ‘Ark’). If your city does not have street names – try using the name of a city from somewhere else in the world: Paris, Milan, Osaka etc.


3. Choose two objects to take with you on the quest…

  • Axe
  • Sword
  • Bow and Arrows
  • Wooden Staff
  • Scimitar
  • Crossbow
  • Spear
  • Food and Water
  • Medical Kit


4. Soon after entering the forest, your group encounters…

Orcs, goblins and trolls etc. are traditionally evil – but you could flip it around and write from their point of view for a twist.
